In this second volume of How I Did It, Eric Farber uses his freedom of retirement to indulge his penchant for independent international travel with trips from home in Istanbul to countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Traveling by planes, trains and automobiles, of course. At other times on foot and bicycle–and by motorcycle, river boat, tuk-tuk and rickshaw–no means of transport was too far-fetched. Highlights include a first crossing to America by Ocean Liner and an extended voyage through the United States in a motorhome.
