The Eufaula Alabama Rail Trail

The Eufaula Trail - December 2003 through December 2008 Five years brought significant progress to the Eufaula Rail Trail. Progress does not happen without hard work. Those involved in Eufaula deserve credit for their work and their results. This report begins with my original report from five years ago and is updated with photographs taken from the trail on our December 28, 2008 visit to the trail where we walked the trail instead of riding it on our bike. We didn’t take the bike on this visit because the weather reports predicted constant rain. We found a window in the rain that allowed a nice walk. The ominous clouds didn’t support great photography, but the pictures included herein do give a representation of the first mile of the trail.
