Ruby Lennox, a 20-year-old college dropout, is sent to live with her stern but quietly loving Aunt Helena after being caught stealing from her university’s residence fund. Ostracised, broke, and secretly struggling with anxiety and nightly bedwetting, Ruby is given a second chance under her aunt’s roof—on one condition: she follows every rule, no arguments. Helena has her own method of healing troubled young adults: structured regression, domestic simplicity, and gentle, but absolute discipline. Ruby agrees out of desperation, not realising that she’s being slowly led back into toddlerhood, one rule at a time.
