MAID IN THE SHADE

Can a conventional Ph.D. with a compulsive tendency for neatness find happiness with a disorganized free-spirited widow with three young children? When Marcus Beckworth, a noted psychologist on sabbatical from his teaching position at Syracuse University, starts to do research for a new intellegence test, two women enter his life. One is his new afternoon assistant, Abby Richards, whose casual approach to things drives him crazy but shows him a lot of things he’s missing in life. The other is a secret pen pal named Daisy, who is definitely his soul mate. He becomes more and more confused as he finds himself falling for them both. Add to the mix a wicked step-mother, a wacky and free-wheeling sister, a fake engagement and the fact that Abby and Daisy are really one and the same and Maid in the Shade makes for non-stop fun!
