
This book follows the lives of two gay adolescent males, struggling to come to terms with their sexuality as they move into adulthood and come into contact with all kinds of prejudice. The story is not about homosexuality, however, but about love and how it is beautiful in all its forms. The novel explores a controversial theme from the perspective of victims of prejudice and attempts to portray the purity of a love that is often misunderstood. The book examines relationships in a variety of forms, comparing the physical with the spiritual and between lovers to family and friends. The storyline follows the boys as they try to build a life together in a hostile world.
