Trails of the Invaders unearths the true nature of mankind after his banishment by God. The Author use his highly sophisticated wit to bring to light moral lessons through the various thematic concerns brought about through the powerful stylistic devices in the novel. He explores man’s response to vices over virtues. Trails of the Invaders explores into depth the wellspring of human nature and how an individual person’s nature can negatively or positively affect another. The novel is set in a war tone environment where man’s only way of survival was exploiting another, fighting or even killing. What matters is if he benefits from whatever he does. He applies language and register in many instances in the novel so as to make it easier for the reader the try to assume where the novel could have possibly been set. The Author also explores the destructive nature of man.
