A Tale of the Rat is a satirical, clever and outrageously funny story about a clever and level-headed little dachshund named Ratlee and his strange and various assortment of neurotic, highly emotional animal friends. It's a combination and cross between "Valley of the Dolls" meets "Lassie." The story opens in the fetid swamp of South Florida and takes the cast of odd characters across the high seas aboard Ratlees owners' massive yacht, "The Passing Wind." After a drama filled and action packed week upon the Atlantic Ocean the great yacht eventually reaches its final destination of Greece. Ratlee and his cohorts encounter a number of very curious, peculiar people and animals that lead them to strange and ghostly, eerie places. The book climaxes and then ends in an exciting, humorous, sad and heartfelt way. The many twists and turns that await the reader throughout the entire tale are certain to thrill, amuse and entertain booklovers of all ages.
