Volume 8 - Surviving after Ethiopia 1976-77

Having returned from revolution torn Ethiopia as chronicled in Volume 7, the author staggers to adjust to life in the states by enrolling in a Master's program in Anthropology and maintaining correspondence with those she met while in Ethiopia. Thread running through this is the pending marriage between the author and the coffee merchant she met in Ethiopia, Ali Hussein Naji.
