SARAH'S STORY--
This ebook may not meet accessibility standards and may not be fully compatible with assistive technologies.
In the mid 1800's Sarah Winnemucca saw the new invaders as 'owl-eyes', as strange yet powerful, as curious. Her Grandfather would tell a story that had been with the Piute people a long time and Sarah would not forget it.
This Great Basin area, or Nevada, we call it, is where Sarah grew up. Once grown up, she would reach from one end of the country to the other to speak out and write in her quest for fairness and justice for her people.
