Lost by Design By: Grant Jones and Don Hanlon After the battle of Gettysburg, the North’s resource advantage began to take its toll on the Southern Army. Many people believe that this was the turning point of the Civil War; however, it was not. It occurred the year before at the battle of Sharpesburg. The outcome of the battle of Sharpesburg was the combined result of both the battlefield actions and espionage. This novel explores the espionage issue during that battle.
