The Complete Golden Age Red Bee
Gwandanaland Comics #794 --- He Battles Against Evil, But He Doesn't Fight Alone! His Full Series From Hit Comics #1-24
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Many superheroes began as members of the traditional justice system – as did Rick Raleigh, assistant district attorney. Like many in “the system,” he was dissatisfied, and so he decided to take on an alter ego – THE RED BEE. His power is the ability to control bees, including his pet bee “Michael” whom he kept in his belt pouch. One of the most creative Golden Age heroes, RED BEE ran through the first 24 issues of HIT COMICS – and Gwandanaland / Midcentury Comics has the first and only complete collection of his stories!
We have two versions of the RED BEE collection. This book contains his complete stories, which includes the 5 stories currently taken from low-quality microfiche, because that is all that is available. Another version, A GOLDEN AGE RED BEE TREASURY does not contain those five stories, only those taken from paper scans (Gwandanaland Comics #1509 / Midcentury Comics #211). In either case, once we are able to find those stories and upgrade the books, you are eligible for a free replacement.
