In bold all-caps it shouts THE PERFECT CRIME, but even in the pre-code era that was not appropriate, so in smaller letters there would always be the important disclaimer, such as “How Police Smash....” or “The Is No....” – but PERFECT CRIME is what readers saw, and that what they were looking for, although they were never disappointed when the bad guy got his/her just desserts. It wasn't about the outcome; it was about the ride. THE PERFECT CRIME ran for 33 issues in the final pre-code years, and included many controversial stories and themes. These early stories also include the art of the well-loved Bob Powell. This is a small-publisher series that needs to be on your shelf!
