Gwandanaland Comics #2181 -- The Public Domain Stories of a Lost Comics Master
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Joe Maneely (1926-1958) was poised to be a major star in the upcoming world of Marvel Comics. He was a mainstay of the Atlas line of the 1950s and had the admiration and respect of artists, writers and readers alike. There have been a few people artists described as “the next Jack Kirby,” but not many were pegged that way by Stan Lee himself. A tragic commuted train accident took Maneely from his family, friends and fans, and left everyone to wonder what could have been. The vast majority of Joe Maneely's work was done for Marvel; in fact, just a touch over 100 pages of his work is in the public domain, all in the western genre – and Gwandanaland Comics has them all for you right here!
