It’s 1930 on Meadowview Farm in Upstate New York.
Thirteen-year-old Carol Ayers and her family have lived in New York for just over a year, and it’s been difficult to adjust. Though new friends provide fun at school and her sisters bring laughter to the rented farmhouse, Carol still doesn’t feel settled. Inspired by a Sunday evening church youth meeting, Carol begins a diary, recording the changes through the days, weeks, and months. Will Carol learn to embrace her new life in New York and consider it home?
