Red Indians, Palefaces on the run because of the end of the prairie which was the fur trade.
While the Red King and the Blue King are playing their power game which enables the Blue-White-Red Americans to win it all.
Siouxsioux children live freely on the prairie when the first trapper kills one of their animal friends. They decide to destroy all the traps, which infuriates the French trapper, of course. But the fact that an English trapper has stolen all his furs and traps, changes his view on the world and makes him wish he could live like Red Indians. As these are friends with all animals, animals help with recovering the furs although some of which have come from friends because the furs are needed to pay for the ship which brings the French trapper's family to Quebec. Soldiers destroy their village on behalf of the fur merchant. They set off for a promised land at the end of the world where eagles are awaiting them. Unfortunately Eagle Men are no different from Reother humans.
