Traducción del ensayo publicado en <i>Nolmë</i> 2 sobre el inglés antiguo en la obra de ficción de Tolkien y la lengua de los rohirrim.</p> <p>En este ensayo se muestran los principios sobre el idioma anglosajón necesarios para un acercamiento lingüístico a la Marca de los Jinetes; se realiza un estudio de la traducción de nombres de Rohan al español, y se proporciona un índice onomástico con más de ciento treinta nombres analizados.</p> <hr /> <p>SPECIAL ENGLISH ISSUE: <i>The tongue of Rohan</i>. Translation of the essay published in <i>Nolmë</i> 2 about Old English in Tolkien’s fiction work and the tongue of Rohirrim.</p> <p>This essay shows the principles of the Anglo-Saxon language necessary for a linguistic approach to the Riddermark; a study is done of the translation of Rohan names into Spanish, and an onomasticon of more than one hundred and thirty names is provided.</p>
