Howard O. Pittman is the only man known who is alive today having had an experience similar to both of those experiences reported in the Bible in Isaiah 38:1-5 and II Corinthians 12:3-4. On August 3rd, 1979, Howard kept his appointment with death while in an ambulance being moved from one hospital to another. I was born into, and raised by a Bible believing, Bible reading, Bible teaching family. I attended a basic fundamentalist church and denominational college and seminary. To read and study the Bible on a daily basis was a routine thing for me. I was well aware of all Scripture relating to the reality of Satan as a personal devil and individual demon spirits, but I don't know what I even believed about them in my own mind, until August 3, 1979. When I heard reference to "demons",I would just shake my head and wonder.
