ARC OF LIGHT is a collection of sixty poems on various subjects, including the world of nature (a river, a waterfall, the surf), the alienation of city life, military training, the Trojan War, the Cold War and the Iraq War. Poems range from a lighthearted piece on levitational hedgehogs to a deeply pondered but unconventional poem on the atomic bombing of the city of Nagasaki. The collection concludes with some poems about cancer and survivorhood.
