Emily's Halfway House

Emily is a kindly old witch who lives in her little stone cottage on the very top of Snoring Hill and the only way of getting from one side of the hill to the other is along the winding pathway which leads up the hill, straight through the middle of Emily's cottage, twice around the dining table and out the back door- and Emily just loves it! Now the Council want to build a by-pass. First she is upset, then she is cross. Now she has a plan - after all she is a witch, albeit a little out of practice. This book features several beautiful colour illustrations by Ian Lovell,and others that children will enjoy colouring themselves.
