Two Brothers Go to War is subtitled Letters from World War I. The letters are from the brothers to their sister and a few other family members, and have been transcribed just as they were written. There are a few expiations of things that may not be understood added by the author to clarify what is being written. The two brothers are great uncles of the author. The book is more about the two brothers than it is about WWI. By reading the letters, one gets an idea of what was going on in Europe as well as how it is affecting the family on the home front.
