Remember, Remember, the 10th of September

ByJacob Martin

This poem is about the peace we had before September 11th, but it is also about the continued destruction inspired by it that the U.S. and Australian Governments caused by sending troops to fight an immoral war. It recalls the easy, simple life we Australians had before the event that changed the world, and appeal to change the current climate of fear to one of hope, forsaking the paranoia that should have died in the Cold War. I do not hate America, I merely despise the people who run it.
