Baree, Son Of Kazan
Gwandanaland Nostalgia Series #69 -- An Amazing Novel Of The Wild
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This is the thrilling tale of a pup called BAREE, born in the wild, attacked and befriended by man, balanced, often torn between two civilizations – that of his untamed wilderness and the comfort and safety of the human world. Baree, a mix of wolf and dog, is separated from his parents at an early age and must fight for survival as he learns about his true nature.
James Oliver Curwood (1878-1927) was an adventurer and conservationist, and using his experiences in the outdoors, he became one of the top ten American authors of the early 20th Century. From 1908 until his death, Curwood wrote dozens of popular novels, and many dozens of film and TV adaptations were made from his works. He is still celebrated in his hometown of Owosso, Michigan, and has a small mountain named for him in L'Anse, Michigan.
