Cast Out!

The key word cast out appears thirty-four times in the New Testament. This volume explores twelve different uses of this verb, from the casting out of sheep and oxen from the Jerusalem temple, to the casting out of Hagar and her Son from the tents of Abraham. From the infanticide ordered by Pharaoh in Egypt to the excommunication of a man from his synagogue because he told the truth about Jesus. The concluding chapter focuses on the blessed words of Jesus: him that comes unto me I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).
