You might wonder why I wrote this book. I am not a professional writer. I do not have a degree in English or Theology. I am just someone who was very, very hungry — and then very, very fed. The story you are about to read happened to me. Every knock, every tear, every doubt, every moment of peace. I wrote it down because I could not keep it inside. The words wanted to be born. And I believe, deep in my bones, that someone out there needs them. Maybe that someone is you. This book is not meant to argue, convert, or impress. It is meant to share. Think of it as a letter from one hungry soul to another. I do not have all the answers. I cannot solve your doubts or carry your burdens. But I can tell you what happened when I opened a blue book and let Christ find me. I have changed some names to protect the privacy of the people who walked with me. But every feeling, every scripture, every whisper of the Holy Ghost is true. If you are new to the Book of Mormon, you may find some of the chapters and verses unfamiliar. That is okay. You do not need to understand everything. You just need to be willing.
