In the process of hybridizing both partners' projects, it was a priority to remain the uniqueness of both individual projects, but at the same time fuse the two together to make one whole. Jana's study of catenaries provided the "structure" of the hybrid system while Scott's "oblique catenaries" shaped the form. The "structure" consists of catenaries that are equal in length and spaced at equal distance. The "oblique catenaries" vary in length and distance, but are symmetrically hung from the structure.
