Ellandria is a fifteen-year-old girl who knows that she might not be the most popular, smartest or prettiest girl, but is quite content in spite of her heresy to teen protocol. Her logical world of school, friends and family begins to shred as it is encroached by a forgotten evil. Struggling against her own fears, she is forced to contend with the unfolding events. As a soul-devouring beast stalks her town, Ellandria begins to uncover the greatest threat: her family’s hidden past. Not all things are by accident. Armed only with the help of a loose circle of friends and her younger brother, Ellandria prepares to go to battle with an ancient evil.
