Portly Poet "Volume 1"

This is a collection of my first 250 pieces of poetry written between February 19th, 2010 and May 15th, 2011 originally made available on my poetry blog, "Portly Poet". The content within spans a range of emotions and states of mind. Needless to say, it is not for the faint of heart. When it comes to my poetry anything and everything is questioned, dissected and criticized without exception. Most of the work within is of a serious nature, though there is a sprinkling of humor scattered throughout. Putting together this book and publishing it is the culmination of a dream that was birthed long before the foreword to this book was written. In closing I can only say that I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
