Being a Not Implausible Narrative of events at CHENOBOSKION
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
In 1945, near the cliffs of Jabar al-Tarif in Egypt. three brothers searching for fertilizer stumble upon a buried jar filled not with treasure—but with ancient books. Initially dismissed as worthless, the books begin a long, twisted journey through priests, teachers, smugglers, and scholars. eventually revealing themselves as early Christian gnostic texts.
Interwoven with this modern-day discovery is a parallel story set in 4th-century Roman Egypt, where a young monk named Georgius encounters a mysterious elder named Daisan. Through their dialogues, Georgius is drawn into a deeper spiritual truth—one that challenges the rigid orthodoxy of the Cnurch and emphasizes self-knowledge, inner awakening, and the pursuit of gnosis. As political and religious powers clash, the manuscript explores themes of truth, power, heresy, and the timeless human longing to know the self—and the divine within.
