Just Like The Prophet Jeremiah

Just Like the Prophet Jeremiah by JC Miller follows ex-convict Jeremiah Marion as he rebuilds his life in San Francisco’s gritty Tenderloin. With a guitar, a beat-up van, and a visionary manuscript in progress, Jeremiah becomes a street philosopher and reluctant performer. He finds companionship in the loud but loyal Subtle and forms a tender bond with Desiree, his firebrand poet muse. As he paints streets and covers and strums his five hundred-year plan, Jeremiah wrestles with illusions of redeeming purpose and the bedlam swarms around him, in a wistful, darkly comic journey of a modern-day prophet searching for meaning in a chaotic world.
