Quantum Physics and Aristotle Metaphysics - The AHI hypothesis

This article is about the question of the nature of the wave function in Quantum Mechanics (QM). All physical theories extract their principles from a "primary philosophy", allowing the very expression of these principles in a non-mathematical language. We believe that the QM problems find their origin in the fact that, for this theory, until now, this "primary philosophy" has'nt been correctly defined. In one of his after-war books, W. Heisenberg offers an interpretation of the nature of the wave function, based on the Aristotelian notion of "potentia". We hereafter propose a number of arguments backing up Heisenberg's ideas and we propose considering Aristotle's metaphysics as a serious candidate to this role of "primary philosophy" that's missing to QM.
