I was born at home in Timmins, Ontario on January 3rd, 1926 at 7 a.m. to Peter and Alice Tent. It was a very cold Sunday morning. I was their first child and only weighed 4 lbs.
As young women, I traveled to British Columbia by train to work in an airplane factory. On the train I met a young man, Emerson Campbell from Ness Lake, B.C. Emerson was returning home from the Navy. We began a courtship and were married on April 17, 1945 in Prince George, B.C. We settled in the Prince George area and raised ten children, Sandra, Shirley, Terry, Margaret, Peter, Donny, Pat, Suzanne, Juanita & Caroline. We lived in the Ness Lake area for many years before moving closer to town.
