Cockamamie Comic Ads are bizarre promos printed in comics books from the Golden Age and Silver Age. Comics historian Jer Alford compiled this fanzine from the Stupid Comics retrospective website. Dozens of confusing ads for mail order goodies like hypnosis kits, space monsters, televiewers, robot costumes, cardboard submarines, picture guns, x-ray specs, invisible helmets, toy dinosaurs, rubber masks, muscle man books, cowboy outfits, and mysterious superheroes. 64 pages long, and in color!
