Who can sit on the Golden Stool? Kaidah and Kzuri love village life, and they love Panda Dad's bedtime stories about the mysterious Golden Stool. But when strangers from across the waters take the king and demand the stool, the girls sneak after Panda Dad to the elders' meeting, and meet a woman who will change everything. Inspired by the true story of Yaa Asantewaa, the Queen Mother who rallied the Asante people in 1900, Panda Dad is a story about courage, family and remembering who you are.
