Computer Technology, A Beginner's 'How To'

The purpose of this book is to provide a tutorial in the basic understanding of computers It is a book from which a novice may achieve a basic computer skill together with the ability to sent and receive Emails and to ‘Surf the Web’ Internet. It is a textbook that should be provided to all elderly students in an effort to give a small amount of pre-knowledge before undertaking any ‘Beginners’ course in computer technology. It is aimed at the rather older generation and those in particular who have had very little experience or useful knowledge of computers. It shows that a computer may be used as a means of easing the laborious methods of handwriting and to provide another means of social communication that may be incorporated into their lives.
