Stressing x number of feet per line is purloined feet, cooks in kitchens beating them, or pacing, for emphasis, tone-shifts their shifting weights.
Eyeballing what goes in is name-calling what goes on, amounts as moments of activation, pinches to the skin, blood to the survival brain.
The space between stimulus and response is freedom, words free to act and react, reader free to live everything in the pause.
Consciously choosing to lip and listen to the words’ music is consciousness choosing presence and preference to sing along.
Between day’s horns words rise and fall like leaves, floating, bunching, hovering, crunching until what reader sees is how reader says what reader hears.
