An Olympic Rowing Training Center is a unique and dynamic facility which incorporates an array of unique functions and activities designed for training world-class athletes. Given the dynamism of the interior functions, the building and surrounding site work in conjunction to catalyze a large underutilized parcel of land located near the heart of downtown Chicago and an unappreciated southern section of the Chicago River. The Olympic Rowing Training Center offers event specific technical training and conditioning for athletes preparing for rowing competitions at the national and international level while allowing the athletes to interact with the surrounding public and providing dynamic training and living.
