Survival Mechanism

Survival Mechanism

ByJohnn Schroeder

A highly complex battle robot is damaged by the same lightening bolt that kills the crew of the transport plane carrying the robot from Antarctica back to the U.S. The robot is activated, and it's on-board repair system begins to rebuild the robot in a most unexpected way. The robot is becoming self-aware, alive. The government and the military are hunting for the robot, and it is intent on escaping. Along the way it begins to learn about man, studying humanity, learning, researching. The robot is capable of immense devastation if triggered into action, and the hunters are determined they will find it before it strikes out. The robot has other ideas, even as it becomes something more then robot, for it is developing the ability to think for itself, to make its own decisions. The 'Balmung Project', just took a turn down an unexpected road, and mankind will have to consider the consequences of this new unique life form. It intends to survive, and it has an agenda all its own!
