The PARA-site pavillion is based on a new approach to the creation of form and space through knowledge of material, and of its "intelligent" behaviour, complemented by the use of parametric software and advanced modelling. This will enable us to produce designs and architecture that are not only totally innovative in material, form and behaviour, but also able to adapt to their environment.
The PARA-site pavilion is the first one of its characteristics produced and designed in Catalunya.
Both the research shown in this book and the book itself have been carried out at the ELISAVA Masters in Advanced Design and Digital Architecture (ADDA) at the graduate program BioDesign Laboratory, from 15 of October 2010 to May 16 of May 2011.
