Matthew lives within the world of Testudo, a world entirely made up of six floating islands and an endless sea. His life is turned upside down when the mysterious yet powerful Shadow Beast attack his home, and his sister is killed in front of him. His sister’s killer then tells Matthew that if he wants to see her again, he must learn the truth of the world. Joined by his mentor Malcolm and the mysterious talking bird Red, Matthew sets off on his journey to find out just what this truth is.
