The Devel: A Play in Three Acts is a contemporary play in a range of verse that stretches the imagination and searches the depths of the soul. Adam and Eve question God,the four rivers fall in love with Eve, the chromosome is split, and Adam is confused. Eve contemplates the end of God and a new beginning for His replacement. Adam (the image of God) and God come face to face followed by a controversial final scene "The Praying Mantis". By the end, one must ask, What is evil? Are these the cties of satan, made by vanity, Or is man the Creator of Insanity?
