The Promise

The Promise reveals more about the identity of the author, Jude Goss, as seen through the eyes of a young newspaper columnist and her inheritance of a haunted house from her maiden aunt. Though the mansion is so run down and is worth virtually nothing, the contents of its attic open Kellin’s eyes to the possibility of altering her poverty status and exposes the history of her unknown family and inheritance. Her dream of becoming a book author becomes all too real but this cost calls into question her very integrity and morality. However, the greatest gift of all—family—reveals it to be a cost beyond the confines of mere money. If you like this tale read “Becoming” which is the fifth book in this series by Jude Goss.
