Crap Happens Philosophy is a compilation of over 500 people quoted in over 500 pages who have lived since 500BC to present. The concept of this book originated when author was a teen (late 1990’s) reading Taro Gomi’s “Everyone Poops” and thinking everyone experiences crap and people can be crappy. This book is over 20 years of author’s thoughts, work, research, and lived experience.
Crap Happens Philosophy series is built on Viers’s educational and professional background in clinical social work. The book shares her heart and humor in a compilation of coping strategies and mechanisms, interactive exercises, and inspirational quotes. “I personally lost two loved ones to suicide during the pandemic. The purpose of this book is to help people come to terms with their struggles, so they can start overcoming them,” says Viers.
“My goal is to reach zero deaths due to despair, and to just start the conversation about mental health. We need to talk about it to end it.” Viers is the founder of Share Hope Through Art, a suicide prevention nonprofit based in Westminster, Maryland.
This book is a PERFECT gift! Great for you to write on for someone you love and have meaningful conversations.
