Meditation and Its Use Within Psychotherapy

ByJulie Gustafson

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This short book is meant to provide a research overview of meditation and mindfulness in psychotherapy. It is written in a research style and contains thorough and up-to-date research references for meditation and mindfulness. It provides basic information on current evidence-based psychotherapy that incorporates mindfulness for use by trained psychotherapists, trainees of licensed supervisors and psychological-counseling professionals. It contains validated mindfulness meditation techniques, however it cannot replace thorough training by a licensed professional. Please note: this is not a self-help book for individuals and please seek a counseling professional for appropriate training and personal support. My aim is that the contents of this short book will offer a strong foundation and create an inspiration to learn more about meditation and its use for psychotherapy.
