Color and black and white photographs of New Orleans and the French Quarter in June 2006. While the hurricane has destroyed much of the city, the French Quarter remains lively, upbeat and mostly in tact. As the cab driver said on the way in to town, "The wind took the trees, but it couldn't take the bourbon". A beautiful book for lovers of photography or of New Orleans.
