The Door at Measure Meadows

This short but powerful story is based on the perspective of an institution's main door. The first chapter discusses what the front side of the door sees, feels, and experiences, its descriptive, and questions what lies beyond. The second chapter is about the inside face of the door, and what it sees, experiences, and wonders about the outside face. The last chapter, which is chapter three is about the tear down of the institution building (Measure Meadows), but one thing is left standing and that is the main door, both sides get to become one, and experience and give experiences to other. This book is an inspiration from the teachings I've learned in my Educational assistance and community support program, and how our history dealt with institutions for people with disabilities, it's supposed to spread awareness and promote emotion to the volumes of the text.
