Commands system The RAF command system was very complicated and rather overdone, but worked surprisingly well. If a squadron has 2/3 (in points) of planes from a single command (which isn't obligatory), it gets the following specific special rule: Fighter Command - 'Tally Ho!' special rule Once per turn (not phase!) the player may activate two fighters (or fighter formations) in a row. Bomber Command - 'Night bombing' special rule The player may always choose to attack at night and be an attacker. Coastal Command - 'The empire on which the sun never sets' special rule Up to 1/3 of the squadron (in points) may be taken from the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm squadron list (both from Core and Fleet Carrier list) Far East Command - 'The empire on which the sun never sets' special rule Up to 1/3 of the squadron (in points) may be taken from one (and only one) of the following squadron lists: • Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm squadron list (both from Core and Fleet Carrier list) • RAAF • RNZAF
