The Owl Cowboy is a story about an owl named Scooter who lives by the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Texas. He talks about the history of the Trinity River and the different types of animal species who also call the Trinity River home. As the story goes on, Scooter loses his cowboy hat and takes a journey down the Trinity River to find it. While he is on his journey, he meets three different animals. Will Scooter ever find his cowboy hat?
