The Proud Bumble Bee

A prideful bumble bee has the job of protecting his beehive’s honey. He believes his honey is the best, until one day a bear tells him otherwise. The bumble bee strives to prove that his honey is the best without any regards to the other bumble bees that live in the hive. Will the bees have enough food for the upcoming winter? This story illustrates something that happens to us when we become too proud and strive for our own versions of perfection, when what we are or what we have is just right. The bear represents what can come into our lives if we don’t stay focused on what is important.
