Oz: The Undead Apocalypse reimagines L. Frank Baum's classic magical realm as a terrifying post-apocalyptic nightmare. Instead of a land of wonder, Dorothy Gale returns to an Oz utterly corrupted by a biological and magical plague known as "The Rot". Plot Summary The Fall of Oz: Following a series of catastrophic events—chiefly triggered by the Wizard—a horrific contagion called "The Rot" was unleashed across the magical kingdom. The Plague of Flying Monkeys: Hundreds of infected, feral flying monkeys served as the primary vectors, spreading the disease rapidly across the countryside. Their once-grand aerial patrols turned into plague-carrying sweeps, infecting creatures and citizens alike and reducing them to mindless, flesh-hungry ghouls. The Emerald City Desecrated: The legendary Emerald City, once a glowing beacon of hope and emerald light, has fallen into a bleak, ruined wasteland. It is now heavily populated by fast-moving hordes, undead horrors, and mutated monstrosities. Dorothy's Return: Expecting a safe haven or her familiar magical home, Dorothy Gale is thrust right back into this waking nightmare. Stripped of the simple comforts of her past adventures, she finds herself forced to adapt instantly to a brutal survivalist reality. The New Threat: Armed with grit rather than just childhood wonder, Dorothy must navigate treacherous landscapes, figure out what happened to her old companions, and face down a threat unlike anything ever witnessed in the history of Oz.
