Silent Voices From the Past - The Men of the 396th Fighter Squadron

A record of the men who served in the 396th Fighter Squadron, which belonged to the 368th Fighter Group. It was formed in June of 1943 after the start of World War II. This history ends after V-E Day on the end of June 1945. Short stories of many of the twenty two surviving members (as of January 2016) are included. Pictures of World War II Draft Registration cards along with most grave markers and the "Thunder Bums" directory are also included.
